DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A SOFTWARE RESULT PROCESSING AND TRANSCRIPT GENERATION

Abstract

Result processing can be seen as a continuous process of converting data (scores, grade points, credit units etc) into a definite and meaningful information (statement of result, transcripts etc). These results are used to check the performance of each student in various courses. These results when processed manually leads to many problems such as error during computation, insecurity of results, untidy results after changes must have been effected and work load on the exam officer(s) etc. However, designing and implementing, as well as the computerization of result processing and transcript generation system will reduce these problems to the barest minimum. Providing password can do this, which grants access to only authorized user(s). Corrections or changes are effected without making the work untidy. Also stress on exam officer(s) is or are reduced. The design and implementation will be developed using the structured system analysis and design methodology (SSADM). The new system was designed using Visual Basic and MS Access. This language was chosen because of its easy syntax and features for developing web applications.

DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AN ONLINE MARKETING INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Abstract

Online marketing, which is also referred to as internet marketing, involves the utilization of intelligent, interactive, and virtual components for the advancement and promotion of business goods and business ventures on the internet. Being financially-effective, flexible, adaptable and fast and enjoying an extraordinary global reach, internet marketing has achieved various unimaginable incredible gains for businesses. However, this effective, new technique additionally involves building an online marketing system. In order to develop an online marketing system, a number of programming technologies must be studied and understood. These include multi-tiered architecture, server and client side scripting techniques, implementation technologies such as HTML, CSS and a Server side programming language (such as PHP) and relational databases. This is a project with the objective to develop a basic online marketing system where business goods and ventures can advertise their goods and business ventures and sell seamlessly.

DESIGN AND SIMULATION OF AN ELECTRIC DEVICE WITH AUDIO UNIT

Abstract

This work deals extensively with the design and construction of an electrodice display (EOD) with audio unit. The device displays the value of a ludo dice in numerical form and also produces sound as it displays the number. The device works with principle of chance employed by ludo game players. The output of the display is usually very rapid that the player does not actually see the number when the device is switched ON so that it will purely be a game of chance. When the off key is pressed, a particular number is displayed and this number is the number the player got. The operation of the device starts by the generation of a pulse frequency. The pulse frequency (square wave signal) is generated by times (555 timer) by connecting in unstable multi-vibrator. The output from the timer is used in clocking the binary counter (mode 10 counter) but this counter is biased in the mode 10 counter, the output from Qo, Q1 and Q2 were connected to the reset pins so that once the counter finishes the count of six of goes back to zero. The result from the binary counter is then fed to the decoder / driver before connecting it to seven segment so that the decoder will be able to convert the binary values to the decimal values that are being used in the ludo game dice. The seven segment then displays the numbers by lightening the diodes that make up that particular. This device is being regulated by a latch (4-edge triggered flip-flop which has two switches, one is used for putting the power supply and the other two push switches for the working of the dice display.

DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A COMPUTERIZED MOTOR VEHICLE PLATE REGISTRATION SYSTEM

Abstract

The Design and Implementation of motor vehicle plate system is an academic work which aims in developing a computerized system to maintain all the daily works of vehicle plate registration in the Road safety commission. This project has many features like facility of vehicle information and a facility of registered vehicle through which the admin can monitor the whole system. It also has facility of all registered vehicle where the admin can print the vehicle of an identified customer.  Overall this project is being developed to help the vehicle management to maintain the vehicle plate in the best way possible and also reduce the human efforts. The Programming language used in developing this application software is Visual Basic.net 2012. It runs in Windows 98 to Latest windows 10. It also requires Microsoft access 2010 re-distribution to avoid errors.
